How to Calculate Square Inches
It's important to know how to calculate square inches for your customized sticker, so we'll take a brief look at what that entails. When you order custom stickers you can choose a sticker size and shape that is shown on our website, or you can order a custom size and shape that specifically suits your needs. For sticker printing purposes, calculating square inches is very easy and straitforward. Let's say your logo is not a square, rectangle, circle or oval, but rather it's a die-cut shape. No problem, we've got you covered.
When you calculate square inches for your custom sticker, simply measure from edge to edge at the widest part of your logo shape. This measurement is the width. Next, measure from edge to edge at the tallest part of your logo. This is the height. Now we multiply width times height. That's how to determine square inches. Now, let's look at two examples:
- You measured edge to edge at your logo's widest part and it was 3 inches. Then, you measured edge to edge at the tallest part of your logo, and it was 5 inches. 3" x 5" = 15 sq. inches.
- Your measured edge to edge at your logo's widest part at 6 inches and your logo's tallest part at 3.5 inches. 6" x 3.5" = 21 sq. inches.
At Customized Stickers, the process of how to figure out square inches is straightforward: width times height — making it easier for you to figure out the cost of your custom labels.
